Our Founding Story
Our co-founders met at Microsoft Research, working on the SEAL homomorphic encryption library. They recognized fundamental limitations of homomorphic encryption that may never be solved that impact performance and usability, so they started CipherMode Labs in 2020 to improve secure multiparty computation to the point where it could reasonably be used in enterprises.
Our Vision
A platform where any set of entities can collaborate using their data without sharing it. In other words: the ability to encrypt data but be able to process it without decryption.
